So this summer has left us in the dust, quite literally. Between building things, travel and just general fun, we are now out of time (and covered in construction dust).
Of course, being "Glass is half-full" I realize that my absence for work travel may have been a gift in some way to the girls. You may see a theme....
Helping to build her bookcase |
And if you look closely, there is only one arm being used here, broken collar bone....
While you may think, wow - kids and power tools, by themselves? Well, we're not quite that relaxed or willing to let all of that good work go to waste.
Check out the new deck!!! So excited and thankful to my father, father-in-law and of course, Joe, for making it happen. Have seriously enjoyed it....it brings "working from home" a whole new meaning.
And of course, what else has happened since the summer flew by? Oh right, now we're back in school! Crazy.
First Day of School |
Soccer season has also begun, unfortunately with only one player....the other refuses to sit still, so that pesky collar bone is still very broken.
But we're still smiling, and laughing, and enjoying every minute.
Until next time.....
